February Show & Tell and Margaret Reek Program/Workshop

The weather looked a bit iffy yesterday morning, but we had great attendance.  Lucky we are all hardy sould, because it was a fun and inspirational meeting !!!

Karen Frutiger took a dying class at the weaver's guild- which she highly recommends!
Margaret reek shows us one of the tote bags made by the ladies she works with in Africa.
Margaret's textured landscape quilt. She shared the technique with us in a workshop after the meeting. 
Hearing Margaret speak about these women and children  made us all realize how fortunate we are! Information on how to help Margaret and the ladies in the Maai Mahui area will be in the newsletter.

This was such a great day at guild!!! A much needed day filled with ideas & inspiration. Thank you to Margaret Reek!! It was the second time I had seen her program and it was just as good the second time - maybe even more so.
