In the news this month, the website for quilt show registrations should be "live" this week. You can give it a try here. Jean Butzer reminded us to fill everything out on the form as completely as you can. Don't forget to write a few sentences about your quilt for the viewers to read!!!
And of course, there's always show and tell!
Melanie Watson took a class on bobbin work. |
And showed us a new batting for purses. |
Florence Burke made this for a challenge |
Flornce was just playing when she made this one. |
Nancy Lobaugh made this for her niece's wedding. She quilted it herself! |
Nancy got this kit when she, Melanie and Mary Anne went to Houston. She finished hers first! |
Linda Prouty made this paper pieced quilt with leftovers from the wedding quilt she showed at an earlier meeting. |
John Rolle made the flower on the stage for the quilt show. He also gave an update on the military pride quilt. |
Mary Kozub made this flower for the center of her table. She painted the fabric for the petals! |

I did miss the meeting...and by that, I mean I MISSED it!
I am glad to be able to see some pics to get the feel for the day!
There were too many empty seats. It was an awesome day for Milie Kujawski also. Lori should have those pics later today.
