Sorry, I was absent that day.

I was disappointed to miss the June meeting, since I've seen Ina Randall's work in quilt shows, and have always loved it.  Many thanks to Mary and Melanie for providing pictures and information from the meeting, so I can see what I  missed while visiting family.

Nancy Ellers made this at the St Mary's group, but she doesn't really care for it.  (I'm sure someone will be happy to have it!)

Here Nancy shows us how different the same pattern looks in different fabrics.  The blue one below is for a friend battling cancer.

Shirley Lapp showed a rug made by Irene Bow in  2 days after looking up "rugs made with 2 1/2" strips on line.

Eileen Sorochtly made this for a baby shower.

Pat Gardner made this with the St Mary's group, to be donated to the cancer center.

Nancy Schrader made baseball quilts for a baby shower for a friend expecting twins.

Carol McNally wasa working on this at retreat last February and finished it in March.

Carol loves this made with 30's charm squares, because they're her favorite.
Carol will be showing us how to do this at the demo day later this year.  It's from a Missouri Star tutorial.

Mary Ellen Ames finished this from a Ricky Tims pattern she thinks was from 2004

Mary Ellen started this piece in a class.

Ann Renica made this for her oldest grandson's high school graduation

This is Elaine Ross' entry for an upcoming Experience Fiber Art exhibit.  It's titled "We are But a Mere Speck"

Ina Randall  did a nice trunk show of her work.

And then members were treated to a class on painting using a resist.
In July we'll be enjoying our annual summer picnic.  Remember to bring your own table setting and something yummy to share.
