quilting detail |
Erica Plank, of Unseen Hands Designs, stopped in to do a great trunk show featuring her patterns. She is a fun and enthusiastic speaker, with loads of talent!
Many of her early designs feature stitching as the focus
Then she discovered raggy quilts.
Then she decided to try adding crayons to the embroidery.
Then she moved on to appliqué.
Then she combined it all with a new way of making cathedral window blocks.
After the meeting, she gave a class on the cathedral window technique. So we'll be sure to see some of the projects soon!
You can see all of Erica's patterns at her
website.
In July we will have our annual picnic. Please bring a dish to pass and your own place setting. Beverages will be provided.
