One piece of business to report for any who missed the May meeting:
Entry forms for the quilt show will be in your June newsletter. If you are unsure how to fill them out, Alex Hammon will happily help you!
Also as usual, Show and Tell alone was worth the trip!

Mary Ellen Casey finished her piece from the class with Penny marble in April. |

Eula also finished this piece, from a kit, she had worked on at the retreat. |
This very sweet quilt is also by Eula |

This piece was also a result of an online challenge Kathi participated in. |
A community service quilt completed by Ethyl Sojda |
Apologies- I missed who made this. |
The trunk show Mary Diamond did was amazing! Many of her quilts were inspired by time spent in Africa. Others feature the faces of her children and grandchildren.
Note the hair- made with one of those "ladder" ribbon yarns |
This piece was inspired at the Genesee Country Museum |
After the meeting, members enjoyed a wonderful class on thread painting!
Kathi's piece at the end of class |
Martha's piece after the class- pinned to the frame |
Anyone else who took the class and would like to share their work can send it to Martha to be added! We'd all love to see it.
Dodie Morrison finished and sent us a picture! |
The June meeting will feature a trunk show from Ruth Ohol.
Reminder- the dyeing class is on June 30- NOT on Guild meeting day
