September Show and Tell

Nancy Ellers kicked things off with a disappearing nine patch donation quilt she made with donated fabric.  If you look close, you can see that some of the patches are pieced!

Nancy learned a new technique for making flying geese on this one.

Nancy wanted to make the bird pincushions in different sizes

Elaine used a picture she took at the Lamberton Conservatory to make this, with beads representing the raindrops.

Donna Sofokles shared how much she enjoyed her visit to the red and white quilt exhibit in New York.

Cathy Judkins made a mini professional tote.

Mary Ann Watson has kept busy while trying to quit smoking.  She made a couple of the breast cancer pillows,

finished her wool felt class project,
(sorry the picture is so blurry!)

and finished her lighthouse class project.

Chris Kuehl shared some of the Kaffe Fassett fabrics she got on her trip to Hershey, PA.

Connie showed some of the projects turned in for Community Service this month.

Liz Wagner made this for a wedding gift.

A visitor to the meeting (apologies for not getting your name!) brought this to share, since Barb Miller was speaking.  She made this in one of Barb's classes.

In October, the guild will be welcoming Paula Nadelstern.  If you are signed up for classes, you will get a reminder a week or so before the classes.
Due to Paula's flight schedule, the lecture on October 17 will begin early! (The business meeting may follow the lecture for this month only)
Non-members are welcome to attend the lecture, for a $5 fee.
