August Show and Tell and it's only SEVEN WEEKS until showtime!

Anne O'Geen modeling Kathi Everett's fabulous jacket!
With the quilt show only SEVEN weeks away, members are busily finishing two years (or more) worth of UFO's!!!

If you missed it the Batavian did a great article about the show!
And the back

Florence Burke made this amazing quilt - paper pieced, of course!

Melanie Watson finished her thread painting project from May's class

Martha Lorshbaugh finished her portrai- of her husband and son- from last year's class with Mary Kozub.

Shirley Lapp used techniques learned at the Ricky Tims seminar to finish this quilt for her grand daughter

Plus a matching doll!

Mary Kozub's round robin with embellishments from members of the "ArtCGirlz"

Mary Kozub is making TWO quilts of this portrait- her grandparents' wedding photo from 1929  This one is a gift for her aunt.

Arlene Kelly donated this little charmer to the Silent Auction for the quilt show.

After our fabulous show and tell, we had demos from several members.

Mary Kozub shows ice dyeing in small containers.  Some lucky members won the samples!  ( I hope they bring them back for September show and tell!)
Cheryl Doody shows her faux piping technique

Martha Lorshbaugh is either showing how to attach a hanging sleeve, or practicing for her part as Frankenstein at Halloween

Melanie Watson shows us the many ways to finish the "Ten Minute Block"
