Dodie Morrison's oldest grandson is getting married soon. She had just gotten this back from member Cathy Schmeider, who did the quilting.
Mary Ellen Casey bought the pattern for this at one of our meetings some time ago. It's for her granddaughter, who is off to college!
Mary Anne Watson finished her pincushion from the class earlier this year.

Bonnie Reigle finished her wool felt appliqué, but didn't want a pincushion, so she framed it.
Connie Grimsley is continuing her tradition of making pillows for the students in her class each year. This year she made initials, and used novelty fabrics on the backs in an effort to use up some of her stash.

Mary Kozub won a pattern at last month's meeting, and made this small quilt as a table topper, then passed the pattern on to another member.
Then members were treated to a nice demonstration of Nancy Wilson's "Whirlwind Whiz" technique and a trunk show of some of the projects she's made with it.
In June Ina Randall will visit and show us some embellishment techniques. (I'm sad I won't be there to enjoy it)
