Fall Community Service day --NEW PICTURES added!

Before we went off to work on Community Service projects, we were treated to a lovely show and tell!

                               Alex Hammon made this woven fabric mat in a class at The Stitchery

                                                Alex also made this apron with a fun wine panel.                                         It's reversible but the picture of the other side was blurrier than this one.  (I was a bit slow on the draw)

         Bonnie Dedo wore this gorgeous jacket last month, but didn't model it for us until this month.                                                                 Cathy Schmeider quilted it for her.  

                             Nancy Schrader made this cute bunny hanging as a gift for her niece.

Nancy made these pillows for her grandchildren (or maybe grandnieces and nephews?)

  

Gwen Carlson shared this beautigul quilt made for her granddaughter's third birthday.

                                                 Gwen also dug out an old UFO to finish!

Tracy Jachimowicz had this "Mary Poppins" bag made professionally since the pattern looked difficult.  It was, according to the maker.  Tracy is, however, willing to part with the pattern!

Tracy also made this beauty as a gift for her aunt, who is turning 80.

Liz Scott shared more of her quilts of valor.  She was preparing to do her first presentation this week.  

 Mary Lowe donated these (the 2 below) pretty little quilts to Community Service.  The charm quilt was made using the pattern Carol McNally demonstrated a couple of years ago.  (Sorry I don't have the link to that post) 

                           Nancy Mitchell made this very sweet quilt as a gift to a new baby.  

Nancy also made a "Wee Little Quilt" for the consortium, inspired by the tiny crazy quilt block  

                                           Nancy Ellers had her usual bag of things to share....

 She made some Christmas hats for kids.

Nancy, Elaine Lemley, Ann Renica and Jean Butzer are making 12 days of Christmas hangings for the Wonderland of trees at the Holland Land Office Museum.

                                     Nancy made a wee little quilt and then made some more. 

                            Martha finally (finally) finished her day of the dead wall hanging.
