Demo Day again!

I love demo day- there's always something new and exciting shared.  And our members are generous with their knowledge and skills.  Before I share the details, let's enjoy show and tell...

New/ former member Christy Pope's son, Ben shared a quilt he made almost all by himself- at the age of 8!

Didn't he do a great job?

Mary Ellen Ames made this beauty for a great grand child. (Possibly her first?)

Donna Tomski loves her thirties prints.  Mary Lowe did the quilting for Donna.

Connie Grimsley shared the quilts she made for the students in her last class as a teacher.  (she's retiring!)

Two "Lady Bouquets" from last month's class with Julie Brandon...
                                                        Fancy Nancy, by Nancy Schrader

Martha Lorshbaugh didn't name hers.

And NOW- the DEMOS!
Four members shared information with the rest of the membership.

Diane Hooper shared a "No cut" Square in a square block.

She learned the technique here:

Ben went right home and tried it- check out his block!

Shirley Lapp shared her always popular binding tutorial, complete with samples she handed out!

If you missed it, ask Shirley- she's always willing to bring her samples and share her technique!

Thanks to the ladies who shared their time and talent with us!

In June, fiber/ mixed media artist Mary Ann Fritz will share her work with us.
