Picnic time!

Our annual summer brunch was a good time for all who came!  While I was enjoying the food too much to take pictures of everyone enjoying all the delicious food and the good company at the picnic, I did manage to get show and tell!

Nancy Ellers made this from her brother's boy scout "stuff"

Before she sold her cutting machine, Nancy made sure it was working by cutting these tumblers for a donation quilt.
This little "Origami" bag has secret pockets inside.

I've forgotten who Nancy said would be the recipient of these placemats.
These fun little puzzle balls come apart- sort of a fidget toy!
(Sorry to Nancy for this picture- it was the only one I got showing the balls)

Nancy Mitchell took a class on how to make a t-shirt quilt.  She used the fronts and backs of the shirts!

Nancy is working out the right size for these acorn oven  mitts.

Mary Ellen Casey added  her own borders to a Kim Diehl pattern to make this quilt for her granddaughter.  (isn't it the sweetest thing ever?)

Kathy Belluscio used  a LOT of 2 inch squares for this quilt.

Kathy was given some kids fabrics which she turned into this quilt.

Sue Chiddy made this quilt some time ago and has decided to donate it for community service.

Carolyn Stegman made this quilt, originally for a baby girl who turned out to be a boy.  Now it needs a home.

Ann Renica used the square in a square technique from the May demos to make these I spy quilts to be donated.

Elaine Lemley did her best runway model walk to show us the quilted jacket she finally made for herself.

Elaine made this sweet little Santa wall hanging from a kit she found along the way.  She'll donate it to the next silent auction.

As always, thanks to the ladies who get up on stage to help with show and tell.
In August, our own member, Kevin Hammon, will be sharing his work and will give a workshop so we can learn his painting on fabric technique.  Contact Diane Hooper to sign up.
